Today the Mykolayiv V.O. Sukhomlynsky National University is a leading university in southern Ukraine.

The concept of degree training has been successfully implemented at the University: applicants’ training – Bachelor’s degree – Specialist’s degree – Master’s degree – Doctor’s degree.

There are 46 departments, three institutes(Teacher Training, Physical Culture and Sports, History and Law), six faculties (Economics, Philology and Journalism, Foreign Philology, Psychology, Mechanics and Mathematics, Biology) anda college.
